Jiwei Magnetic Level Gauge Passed IP66/67 Test

The requirement of "GB/T 25153-2010 Magnetic Level Gauge for Chemical Vessels” points out that the protection rate of magnetic level gauge display panel should not less than IP54, as long as reach to IP54, the display panel meets national standards. But usually, most magnetic level gauges are installed at outdoors and expose daily to wind, rain and sun, if the protection rate upgrades to IP66 or IP67, the reliability of magnetic level gauge will be enhanced significantly.

As we know, once water vapor goes into the display panel, condensation of water vapor will occur, resulting in display panel becomes blurred, and the flag color level indicator cannot be accurately visible; in addition, under low protection rate, dust or impurities can easily penetrate into the panel, and even lead to bacteria propagation, making the flap hard to flip or even impossible to flip, thus, errors and faults of level indication could frequently occur.

In order to prevent above problems, Jiwei engineer adds a special sealing cap part for both upside and bottom side of the display panel, with this unique plug type structure and professional sealant, the gas tightness reaches a perfect level; also, an angel of the contact surface between aluminum and glass cover has been made to accommodate the gap of glass glue to improve the sealing performance of the panel, thereby greatly increasing the IP rate and reliability of the display panel.
