Jiwei Liquid Level Switch Successfully Applied in Concentrated Sulfuric Acid Level Measurement

Recently, Jiwei Anti-Corrosion Tuning Fork Liquid Level Switch has been successfully used in the measurement and control the liquid level of concentrated sulfuric acid storage tank in Guangzhou Chemical Plant.


Concentrated Sulfuric acid is a highly corrosive chemical and potentially explosive, and it can cause burns and carbonization of skin and flesh. Concentrated Sulfuric acid reacts with other substances may cause fire outbreak or explosion. Therefore, its level sensor must be accurate, durable and high reliable. If sulfuric acid tank overflows, not only results in polluting the environment, but also threatening the property and personal safety.

Jiwei Liquid Level Switch Successfully Applied in Concentrated Sulfuric Acid Level Measurement

Jiwei Ring-11 Anti-Corrosion Tuning Fork Liquid Level Switch is made of 316L stainless steel and with 0.5mm ECTFE coating, while its Ingress Protection grade is up to IP66/67. Its high-temperature piezoelectric ceramic components can withstand the baking temperature of 250 ℃ during coating process. This coating and the fork body are perfectly combined without falling off and cracking, so the whole instrument has the characteristics of stronger corrosion resistance and longer service life. Besides, Ring-11 Anti-Corrosion Tuning Fork Liquid Level Switch has both Intrinsic Safety (Ex ia IIC T6~T1 Ga) and Flameproof Enclosure (Ex d IIC T6~T1 Gb) explosion protection, and it is with high sensitivity due to the precisely pre-adjusted harmonic resonant frequency of the fork, the lowest measurable medium density can be as low as 0.5g/cm³.
