JWrada-32 Radar Level Meter is designed for liquid and solid level measurement, featuring 80 GHz millimeter-wave radar technology with a 36 mm antenna lens and a measuring range of 60 meters.
It comes standard with HART communication and a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module. Paired with the “Jiwei Smart Control” WeChat app, it enables wireless on-site commissioning and monitoring, as well as remote operation via cloud networking. Equipped with a proprietary intelligent echo-learning algorithm, it can identify false echoes, separate multiple echoes, and track targets dynamically, adapting automatically to changing conditions. This ensures stable, precise measurements and long-term reliable performance with easy, maintenance-free operation.
The JWrada-32 Radar Level Meter is certified for explosion protection, including gas and dust flameproof and intrinsic safety (Ex db llC T6 Gb; Ex ia llC T6 Ga; Ex tb lllC T80℃ Db; Ex ia lllC T200 80℃ Da) by the National Explosion-Proof Certification Center. It meets safety requirements for explosive environments and is widely used for level monitoring under harsh conditions.
The radar level meter emits a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) high-frequency (80 GHz) electromagnetic signal through its antenna, with the frequency increasing linearly over time. It receives the electromagnetic wave reflected from the material surface. The periodically transmitted FMCW signal mixes with the reflected echo to produce an intermediate frequency (IF) signal. By analyzing the frequency spectrum of this IF signal using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the flight time of the signal (TDR) is indirectly measured. Combining this with the speed of light, the radar level meter calculates the distance between the antenna and the material surface, thereby accurately determining the level height.
