The JWrada-34 Radar Level Meter uses 80 GHz millimeter-wave technology with a 58 mm antenna lens and a maximum range of 120 m.

Standard features include HART communication and a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module, enabling on-site wireless commissioning via the “Jiwei Smart Control” WeChat app and remote monitoring through cloud networking. Its proprietary intelligent echo-learning algorithm identifies false echoes, separates multiple echoes, and tracks targets dynamically, maintaining high accuracy and stability even in complex conditions.

JWrada-34 Radar Level Meter is designed for extreme environments, it operates up to 220 °C and in steam or dust. Certified for gas and dust explosion protection (Ex db llC T6 Gb; Ex ia llC T6 Ga; Ex tb lllC T80 °C Db; Ex ia lllC T200 80 °C Da), it excels in level measurement for steam and foam applications, low-dielectric powders, solid granules, and dusty or vapor-filled conditions.

The radar level meter emits a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) high-frequency (80 GHz) electromagnetic signal through its antenna, with the frequency increasing linearly over time. It receives the electromagnetic wave reflected from the material surface. The periodically transmitted FMCW signal mixes with the reflected echo to produce an intermediate frequency (IF) signal. By analyzing the frequency spectrum of this IF signal using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the flight time of the signal (TDR) is indirectly measured. Combining this with the speed of light, the radar level meter calculates the distance between the antenna and the material surface, thereby accurately determining the level height.

High Accuracy: ±1 mm for liquids and <0.1% for solids, with a maximum measuring range of 120 m.
