Successful Solution of Jiwei Vibrating Level Switch in PVDF Solid-liquid Interface Measurement

Recently, Jiwei Tube-11 Vibrating Rod Level Switch has been applied in PVDF solid-liquid interface measurement of Zhejiang Juhua Group, which successfully solved the industrial difficulty in PVDF level detection.
Polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive thermoplastic fluoropolymer produced by the polymerization of vinylidene difluoride. It is a homopolymer of vinylidene fluoride (VDF) or a copolymer of VDF and a small amount of other fluorine-containing vinyl monomers. To obtain high purity PVDF products, usually needs at least 6 washings. VDF monomer density is close to that of water, under the joint action of stirring and dispersant, VDF monomer is suspended in the form of droplets in dispersion medium deionized water, this harsh working condition make the solid-liquid interface measurement very difficult and blocks most level switches available in the market.
As a first made-in-China vibrating rod level switch designs with double vibration tubes, Tube-11 Vibrating Rod Level Switch is able to realize reliable level detection in PVDF interface measurement.
Jiwei Tube-11 Vibrating Rod Level Switch possesses high sensitivity and reliability thanks to the fine adjustment on resonant vibrating frequency of its vibrating rod, and its measurable medium density can be as low as 0.02 g/cm³, it is suitable for the majority of granular bulk solids and water sediments or floating objects.
Although measured medium is viscous and there are VDF monomer floating on the water, the specially adjusted Tube-11 Vibrating Rod Level Switch will not trigger the alarm when immerses in the water, but alarm signal will output only if the probe touches with VDF monomer.
At present, all Jiwei Tube-11 Vibrating Rod Level Switches are in reliable operation on PVDF production line, and have never appeared false alarm. The successful application of Tube-11 in PVDF interface measurement greatly upgrade the interface measurement automation level for PVDF medium and improves the factory production efficiency.
