JWrada-33 80GHz radar level meter with 150 m range, Bluetooth 5.0, and explosion-proof certification ensures precise, maintenance-free measurement of liquids, powders, and solids in flammable, explosive, and corrosive environments up to 220 °C.
JWrada-33 Radar Level Meter uses 80GHz millimeter-wave radar technology with a 76mm antenna lens and a maximum range of 150 meters.
It features HART protocol and built-in Bluetooth 5.0, compatible with the “Jiwei Smart Control” WeChat app for wireless on-site and remote commissioning and monitoring via cloud.
Equipped with a self-learning intelligent echo processing algorithm for false echo recognition, multi-echo separation, and dynamic target tracking, it adapts to changing conditions to ensure stable, accurate, and reliable measurements with easy, maintenance-free operation.
JWrada-33 Radar Level Meter operates stably in harsh environments up to 220°C, including steam and dust. It is certified by the National Explosion-Proof Center with gas and dust flameproof and intrinsic safety certifications (Ex db llC T6 Gb; Ex ia llC T6 Ga; Ex tb lllC T80℃ Db; Ex ia lllC T200 80℃ Da).
With specialized corrosion-resistant sealing design, it is ideal for level measurement in flammable, explosive, and corrosive environments such as petrochemical and chemical plants, as well as low dielectric powders, solid particles, dust, steam, foam, and liquid level measurements in challenging conditions.
The radar level meter emits a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) high-frequency (80 GHz) electromagnetic signal through its antenna, with the frequency increasing linearly over time. It receives the electromagnetic wave reflected from the material surface. The periodically transmitted FMCW signal mixes with the reflected echo to produce an intermediate frequency (IF) signal. By analyzing the frequency spectrum of this IF signal using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the flight time of the signal (TDR) is indirectly measured. Combining this with the speed of light, the radar level meter calculates the distance between the antenna and the material surface, thereby accurately determining the level height.
